Judge Alex Sweepstakes

August 15, 2008 – August 30, 2008 No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter the Sweepstakes. Purchase will not improve one’s chance of winning. There is no skill involved in winning the sweepstakes.

2.	ADMINISTRATOR: MerryMedia, Inc., 4370 Tujunga Avenue, Suite#320, Studio City, CA 91604.

3.	HOW TO ENTER: The “Judge Alex Wants You To Win” (“the Sweepstakes”) will run during the period commencing on 12:01 A.M. August 15, 2008 and ending at 11:59 P.M. August 30, 2008 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). To enter, log on to www.judgealex.com and click on “The Judge Alex Wants You To Win Sweepstakes” banner. This will take you to the Official Entry Form. Follow the on-screen instructions for Sweepstakes entry details. To enter, complete the entry form including name, complete address, cell phone number, daytime phone, gender, cell phone and email address (“the required information”). Eligible entrants will be included in the random drawings from which five Grand Prize Winners, (“Winners”) will be chosen. For purposes of these Official Rules, all times and dates are Eastern Standard Time. No purchase is necessary to enter the Sweepstakes. All entries and related correspondence become the property of Twentieth Television Inc. (“the Sponsor”). Participants are limited to two entries per person per email address per day. Additional entries will be disqualified, as will entries not containing the Required Information and all entries not received within the Sweepstakes Period. Twentieth Television Inc., MerryMedia, Inc., the Sweepstakes administrators (“Administrators”), and any other entity involved in the development or administration of this Sweepstakes (collectively, “Promotional Partners”) are not responsible for any electronic miscommunications or failures, technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed telephonic transmissions that may limit an entrant’s ability to participate in this Sweepstakes. Use of any automated system or sweepstakes entry service or mechanism to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed to your on-line service will apply. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the Administrator in writing of email address changes or any other information on Entry Form by mailing a postcard to “Judge Alex Wants You To Win Sweepstakes” c/o MerryMedia, Inc., 4370 Tujunga Blvd., Suite 320, Studio City, CA, 91604.

4.	ELIGIBILITY/LIMITATIONS: Entrants must be permanent, legal residents of one of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia but excluding Puerto Rico and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions and all areas where this Sweepstakes is prohibited by federal, state, provincial, municipal or local law), must be physically present in the U.S. as of the date of entry through and including the date of awarding of the Sweepstakes prizes, and must be 18 years or older and the age of majority in their state of residence on the date of entry. Employees of Sponsor, Administrators, and any entity that produces and/or broadcasts Judge Alex (“Show”), Promotional Partners, and their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and joint venture companies, and any advertising and promotion agencies or any other entity involved in the development or administration of this Sweepstakes, as well as members of such employees’ immediate families and households (including children, spouses and siblings and/or other people living in the same households as such persons, whether related or not), are not eligible to participate.

5.	CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION/ENTRANT RELEASES: By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements and to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Entries made by any mass duplication, automatic, robotic or programmed method, through any sweepstakes entry, notification or related service, or in any manner not in compliance with the requirements of these Official Rules are invalid and will be disqualified. Lost, late, garbled, or damaged entries or entries not containing the Required Information are void. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Sponsor and its Promotional Partner and Administrators have the right to use, assign or dispose of void entries however they deem to be appropriate without the approval of, or compensation to, entrants or any third party as described in the Privacy Policy. Sponsor, Sponsors Promotional Partner, Administrators and any telephone network, cable television, ISPs or other service providers, and their respective parent, affiliated companies, employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents and attorneys are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or any human error, technical malfunction, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failure of any telephone network, computer equipment or software (including, without limitation, any damage to entrant's or any other person's computer hardware or software resulting from the participation in the Sweepstakes or access to or downloading of materials from the Website), for the inability to access any online service or the Website, or any other error or malfunction. Unless prohibited by law, or unless additional compensation is required by the state in which the entrant resides, entry into this Sweepstakes and acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and their Promotional Partner to use, without additional compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity in any and all forms of media, now known and hereafter devised, for promotional, publicity and public relations purposes associated with the Sweepstakes including, without limitation, online (including, without limitation) posting on Web sites any winner’s or participant’s name, photo, likeness, biographical information, statement, voice and city and state of residence. (In any state that requires additional consideration for the foregoing release, by entry into this Sweepstakes entrant agrees to accept, as full and complete consideration for the granting of the foregoing release, the sum of $10.) By participating, entrant agrees to release and hold Sponsor, Administrators, the Promotional Partners, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), harmless against any and all claims and liability of any kind (including, without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and invasion of privacy) arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, misuse, nonuse or use of any prize (including any travel or activity related to the travel); (ii) waives all rights to claim direct, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorney’s fees or any damages of any kind; (iii) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and its representatives, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes, and (iv) agrees to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules, or the Sweepstakes itself.

6.	GRAND PRIZES: Five (5) GRAND PRIZES consisting of one (1) $500 in American Express Travelers Cheques or one (1) $500 VISA gift card. Retail value of the Grand Prize is $500. Total retail value of all prizes combined is $2,500. Odds of winning any prize depend on the number of entries received.

7.	GRAND PRIZE AND FIRST PRIZE ELIGIBILITY AND RESTRICTIONS: Grand Prize Winners are solely responsible for all expenses and costs associated with acceptance and use of the Grand Prize not specifically stated in these rules as being awarded, including, without limitation, any and all federal, state and local taxes. All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If Grand Prize winners cannot accept prize (or any portion of it) as stated, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected. No substitution, assignment or transfer of any prize permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or any component of the prize) with another of comparable or greater value.

8.	WINNER/VALIDATIONS: On or before September 15, 2008, five (5) Grand Prize Winners will be chosen at random from the eligible online entries received during the Sweepstakes period. Potential Grand Prize Winners will be notified by the telephone and/or by email and required to sign and return within 14 business days of notification an Eligibility/Liability Release and Publicity Release where allowed by law. To claim Prizes, Winner must provide proof of age, identity and residency; return signed Eligibility/Liability Release and Publicity Form within the time period specified by the Administrator. Disqualification and selection of an alternative winner, will result from any of the following: Failure of a potential Winner to respond to notification within 14 days of initial correspondence; the failure of a potential Winner to return signed Eligibility/Liability Release and Publicity Release within 14 days from the date of mailing, email or fax transmission; the return of an email notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts; the return of any other notification or prize as undeliverable or any other non-compliance of the Rules. All taxes including federal, state and local are solely the responsibility of the Winner.

9.	CONDITIONS: Each entrant by entering this Sweepstakes agrees that: (a) he/she will be bound by the Rules and the Administrator’s decisions; (b) the Entry becomes solely the Sponsor’s property and will not be acknowledged or returned; (c) none of the Entities, nor any of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, or representatives (“Releasees”) are responsible for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, participation in this Sweepstakes or in any activity from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of any prize, participation in this Sweepstakes or in any activity or travel related thereto or from computer downloading any Sweepstakes information; (d) Winner’s acceptance of a prize constitutes the grant of an unconditional right to use the Winner’s name, address, (city and state only), voice, likeness, photograph, biographical and prize information and/or statements about the Sweepstakes for any publicity, advertising and promotional purposes in any media, worldwide in perpetuity, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law; (e) in the event of viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, acts of God, acts of regulations of any governmental or super-national authority, war, national emergency, accident, fire, riots, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism or other matters beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control, corrupt, prevent or impair the administration, security, fairness or play of this Sweepstakes, so that it cannot be conducted as originally planned, the Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes; and in such event, to select winners from random drawing from among all eligible Entries received up to such time of cancellation, termination or suspension; (f) the Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Rules, the selection and announcement of the Winners or the distribution of the prizes; (g) any portion of a prize not accepted by the Winner will be forfeited; (h) the Releasees are not responsible for any inability of any winner to accept or use any prize (or portion thereof) for any reason; (i) All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the participant and Releasees in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California. Sponsor’s decisions as to all matters related to the administration of the Promotion and selection of the Winners are final.
